📝 Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole wheat flour (aata)
- ½ cup jaggery powder or brown sugar (you can adjust the sweetness)
- ½ cup yogurt (dahi)
- ¼ cup milk (adjust as needed for batter consistency)
- ¼ cup oil (vegetable oil or any neutral oil)
- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ¼ teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
- A pinch of salt
- Optional add-ins: chopped nuts, raisins, or chocolate chips

🍰 Instructions:
- Preheat the oven:
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). If using a pressure cooker, preheat without the whistle on medium flame.
- Prepare the cake pan:
- Grease a small cake tin with oil and line it with parchment paper or dust it with flour.
- Dry Ingredients:
- In a bowl, sift together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
- Wet Ingredients:
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the yogurt and jaggery powder (or brown sugar) until smooth.
- Add oil and vanilla essence, and mix well.
- Combine:

- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Add milk little by little until you get a smooth batter (not too runny, should be pourable).
- Gently fold in any optional add-ins.
- Bake:
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake tin.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Cool and Serve:
- Let the cake cool in the tin for 5 minutes.
- Remove and cool completely on a wire rack before slicing.
