π Ingredients
For the Cake:
- All-purpose flour β 1Β½ cups (180g)
- Baking powder β 1Β½ tsp
- Baking soda β Β½ tsp
- Salt β ΒΌ tsp
- Ground cinnamon β 1Β½ tsp
- Thick curd or yogurt β Β½ cup (120g)
- Milk β Β½ cup (120ml)
- Sugar β ΒΎ cup (150g)
- Neutral oil or melted butter β Β½ cup (120ml)
- Vanilla extract β 1Β½ tsp
- Vinegar or lemon juice β 1 tbsp

For Cinnamon-Sugar Topping:
- Sugar β 2 tbsp
- Ground cinnamon β 1 tsp

1. Preheat & Prep:
- Preheat your oven to 175Β°C (350Β°F).
- Grease and line an 8-inch round or square cake pan.
2. Mix the Wet Ingredients:
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together yogurt and sugar until smooth.
- Add oil, vanilla extract, milk, and vinegar. Mix well.
3. Combine the Dry Ingredients:
- In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
4. Make the Batter:
- Gradually add dry ingredients into the wet mixture. Mix gently until you get a smooth, lump-free batter.
5. Pour & Top:
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
- Mix the 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon, and sprinkle it evenly over the top of the batter.
6. Bake:
- Bake for 30β35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely in the pan before slicing.
