🧁 Ingredients
For the Cake:
- 1½ cups (180g) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
- ½ cup (113g) unsalted butter (softened)
- ½ cup (120ml) milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

For the Cinnamon Streusel Topping:
- ⅓ cup (67g) brown sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp butter (cold)
📝 Instructions
- Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper. - Make the Cake Batter
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla.
In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add this to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until smooth. - Make the Streusel Topping
In a small bowl, mix brown sugar, cinnamon, and flour. Cut in the cold butter using a fork until crumbly.

- Assemble
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle the streusel evenly over the batter. - Bake
Bake for 30–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. - Cool & Serve
Let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Slice and enjoy!
