🎂 Red Velvet Cake Recipe

🧁 Ingredients:
For the cake:
- 2½ cups (300g) all-purpose flour
- 1½ cups (300g) sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1½ cups (360ml) vegetable oil
- 1 cup (240ml) buttermilk (or 1 cup milk + 1 tbsp vinegar)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbsp red food coloring
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp white vinegar

For cream cheese frosting:
- 1 cup (225g) cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup (115g) butter (softened)
- 2–2½ cups (250–300g) powdered sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract

🥣 Instructions:
🔴 For the Cake:
- Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Grease and flour two 8-inch round cake pans. - Dry Ingredients:
In a bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder. Set aside.

- Wet Ingredients:
In another large bowl, mix sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Then add buttermilk, red food coloring, vanilla, and vinegar. Mix well. - Combine:
Slowly add dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Mix until smooth and combined. - Bake:
Divide batter into pans. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely before frosting.

- Cream Butter & Cheese:
Beat cream cheese and butter together until creamy. - Add Sugar & Vanilla:
Add powdered sugar gradually and vanilla. Beat until fluffy.

🧁 Assemble the Cake:
- Place one cake layer on a plate. Spread a thick layer of frosting on top.
- Add the second layer and frost the top and sides.
- Decorate with red velvet crumbs or as you like!
